Teams making Cup progress

LAST weekend's D & J Builders (North West) Oldham Sunday League action saw Challenge Cup games taking place.
The second round games saw Coppice United defeat Grasshoppers 9-1, but Manor FC and Halfway House face a replay after drawing 3-3.
Of the replays which did take place, AFC Front House were 8-1 winners at FC Paris, Sun Inn beat Hunt Lane Tavern 6-1, while Wellington beat Orb 4-3 on penalties following a 3-3 draw.
The first round of the division two shield saw Top House win 3-2 at Fitton Hill Rangers, setting up a tie against Red Star who beat North Star Athletic 4-0.
As for the league, High Crompton CC won their Premier Division match at Failsworth Athletic 4-0, while division three champions-elect Broadgate beat Waggon and Horses 4-0.
