Glodwick taking over at top of division one

GLODWICK are the new leaders of the Oldham and District Table Tennis League's first division after beating Hollinwood A while former leaders Aerospace A drew with Hyde YMCA A.

Rosehill B beat Hollinwood B 6-4, while their C team lost 7-3 to Honeywell Lane.

Werneth C and Unison A remain clear in division two after 7-3 wins against Failsworth A and Honeywell C. First Transport lost 6-4 to Honeywell B.

Hollinwood E and Uppermill B shared the points as did Coldhurst A and Hollinwood D.

Division three leaders Gilders beat Failsworth C 10-0, the score by which Owls saw off Coldhurst C and Unison C beat Coldhurst B.

There were 7-3 wins for Honeywell E and Grotton B against Unison D and Gilders B respectively, while Werneth D prevailed 6-4 against Failsworth B.

In division four, Coldhurst beat Honeywell F 9-1 while their E side defeated Werneth 7-3.

There were 8-2 victories for Werneth E and OTTC B over Honeywell G and Coldhurst F, Uppermill C beat Failsworth F 6-4, while Coldhurst E and Owls B drew.
