Angel hit for six by new leaders

ORB are the new leaders of the D & J Builders (North West) Oldham Sunday League's Premier Division after they beat Angel Inn 6-0, while former pacesetters High Crompton CC lost 1-0 to Chaddy End.
Springhead Legends thrashed Sun Inn 10-3, while 3D Dynamos A defeated Failsworth Athletic 4-2. The match between Summit Inn and Dog Inn was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
White Hart stayed top of division one after beating Clayton Athletic 4-1, while Byron Street prevailed 3-1 at AFC Church and Haughton Athletic defeated Shaw FC 1-0.
It was a miserable week for Wellington in division two as the former leaders were deducted three points for fielding an ineligible player earlier in the season, and then lost a league game 6-0 to AFC Front House.
Fitton Hill Rangers are now top after beating Manor Inn 4-1, Red Star won 7-2 at Top House, while the game between North Star and Minders Arms was the victim of a waterlogged pitch.
In division three, Waggon and Horses earned their first win of the season with a 4-3 victory over Rifle Range.
Elsewhere, leaders Halfway House gained three points after Grasshoppers were unable to field a team, second-placed Broadgate beat Crompton and Royton 4-0, while Royton Athletic won 7-0 at White Hart, Hollins.
