Friezland continue setting the pace

FRIEZLAND A continue to head division one of the Tameside Ladies Bowling League after they were comfortable winners at Stoneleigh Park, while second-placed George and Dragon were triumphant at Stamford Park.
In division two, St Pauls' advantage at the top was cut after they lost against nearest challengers Norths, while third-placed Etherow prevailed against bottom club Victoria Park A and Cedar Park B defeated Riverside.
Division three pacesetters Dukinfield Park A are only a point clear after they won at Gamesley, only for Stalybridge Labour to rout Victoria Park B to close the gap on the leaders.
