Bowing out in style

BOTH the Oldham under-12s and under-13s town teams ended their short representative seasons on a high note.

The under-12s defeated Salford 24-4 and the under-13s enjoyed a comfortable victory, also against Salford, winning 52-18.

Nathan Hughes (Oldham St Annes) scored two tries for the under-12s who also saw Nathan Mason, Danny Yates (both Waterhead) and Ewan Reddyoff (Oldham St Annes) score tries. Waterhead's Ben Whitehead kicked two goals.

The under-13s saw Louis Jackson (three), Ryan Murgatroyd (two), Sean Casey, Grant Hudson (Oldham St Annes), Ben Pye (Waterhead) and Lewis Waterman (Crompton House School) score tries with Waterhead's Kristian Bell kicking eight goals.
