A Shaw thing

AN entertaining match for the neutrals saw Shaw Rhinos beat Haresfinch 40-32 in their penultimate North West Counties division two match of the season.
Both sides scored seven tries but Shaw's Danny Atherton converted six of them while Haresfinch only managed two.
Atherton, Chris Conway, Jason Shaw and Mick Belfield (two) crossed for first-half tries as Shaw led 28-12 at half-time.
The game looked won at this stage, but Haresfinch had other ideas and hit back with two tries and one conversion to make it 28-22.
Converted tries from Conway and Tim White stretched Shaw's lead, but the visitors did not let their heads drop and scored a further two tries and one conversion.
The Rhinos are scheduled to play their last game of the season at home on Saturday against Widnes Ball Bulldogs, kick off 2.30pm.
