TWELVE tries saw Wigan St Patricks emerge with the spoils after they defeated Oldham St Annes 66-6.

With Oldham fielding eight second team players ahead of the Standard Cup Final, they conceded tries to Damien Charnock (two), Ian Schofield and Sean O'Neill before half-time, Kelvin Peet kicking three goals.

The second half saw Wigan score through Peet, Schofield, Richard Owen, Anthony Atherton (two), Andy Rasburn (two) and Deon Duell, Peet kicking five more goals.

Lee Forsythe scored Oldham's sole try.
