FOUR tries saw Waterhead run out 32-8 winners at Huddersfield Sharks.
The first of Jon Perks' eight successful kicks gave them an early lead before he converted Matthew Barran's 10th minute try.
Perks then added another penalty before converting Michael Monroe's try and adding another penalty to give Waterhead an 18-0 lead at half-time.
Although Huddersfield pulled a try back three minutes after half-time, Perks kicked another penalty as well as converting Michael Brown's try to make it 26-4.
Huddersfield scored their second try with seven minutes remaining but Waterhead had the last score of the afternoon as Mark Leyden went over three minutes later with Perks adding the extras.
