Hoppers hit Bury for five

CHADDY Hoppers had an excellent weekend with only one of their teams suffering defeat.

Joshua Wooller (three), James Bartholomew and Tom Ratcliff were on target as the under-sevens yellows beat Bury Amateurs 5-0 to keep their 100 per cent record.

The under-eights reds won 10-0 at Westbury Sports, Jake Mansfield scoring six times.

Dan Javed and Josh Alker gave the under-nines reds a 2-1 victory at Marauders Pumas, while Gilly Clarke (two) and Ben Houraghan were on target as the blues won 3-1 at Westbury Lions.

Jamie Pollinger scored as the yellows drew 1-1 against Bury Juniors.

The under-10s reds beat Westbury Pumas 5-3, while the blue team were 9-2 winners at Horwich Town, Daniel Owens (three).

The under-11s reds won 5-3, the blues lost 11-4 against Radcliffe Borough B, and the under-12s beat Marauders Hawk 3-1.
