COLDHURST C posted their first win of the division three season in the Oldham and District Table Tennis League as they beat Community Centre 6-4.

Werneth D remain top after a 7-3 success at Gilders A, Honeywell D drew with Coldhurst B, while Grotton B's 8-2 victory at Failsworth D keeps them in the promotion frame.

Werneth A are division one's outright leaders after a 10-0 maximum against their C team, while Rosehill A's relegation worries were banished with a 7-3 win against OTTC B.

Honeywell A edged out Hyde YM A 6-4, while Werneth B were 7-3 winners at Hollinwood B.

The most significant match in division two occurred at the wrong end of the table as Hollinwood E shaded Pennine 6-4.

Failsworth A beat Honeywell B by the same score, as did First Transport over Hollinwood C, while Failsworth B look doomed after a 9-1 defeat against Honeywell C.

Division four's match of the week saw second-placed Unison D share the spoils with third-placed Uppermill C.

Leaders Coldhurst D showed little mercy for their E team, dispatching them 8-2, while Werneth F prevailed 9-1 against Saddleworth CC.

Elsewhere, there were 6-4 victories for Failsworth E and Werneth E against OTTC C and Failsworth F respectively.
