Duo’s mixed fortunes

14/12/2005

HOLLINWOOD went down 62-6 at Hoyland Vikings as they were only able to field 11 players.

Matty McCullough scored their only try, goaled by Mike Nield, leaving club secretary Fred Halliwell upset at those absent.

He said: "It is not fair on the regular players who turn up for training and matches."

Shaw Rhinos continued their good form to defeat Portico Vine 36-16.

Roy Stott (two), Grant Bithel and Danny Atherton all crossed in the first half, Stott, Darren Chadwick and Chris Conway scoring after the break.
