End of the road for Chaddy

OLDHAM Sunday League club Chaddy End bowed out of the Manchester County Challenge Cup with defeat against Radclyffe.
Goals from Ryan Baldwin and Aiden Gilmore had put them 2-1 up before they missed a hatful of chances and allowed Radclyffe to equalise for a second time.
Pushing forward to try and get the winner, Chaddy End were caught on the counter-attack and saw Radclyffe score the winning goal in the last minute.
There was no such heartache for Royton Band Club who progressed to the last 16 with a 6-1 victory at Cardinal Villa, including a hat-trick from Shaun Weaver.
As far as the league went, the one Premier Division game which took place saw Failsworth Athletic ease their relegation fears with a 6-0 win against Shaw FC at Mable Road.
Andy Callaghan and Dave Cain both grabbed braces, while goals from Sam Pearson and Glyn Billington ensured victory.
Elsewhere, Manor and Top House drew 1-1, while Grasshoppers defeated Rifle Range.
