AFTER a gap of eight months, Shaw Rhinos returned to George Street for their first home game of the season, but it was a far from happy return.
They had the best possible start as Danny Atherton finishing off a length-of-the-field move, and should have scored again two minutes later.
That was the highlight of the day, as things took a distinct turn for the worse from then on.
Trailing 14-4 at the break, Shaw saw the visitors take full control in the second half, running in six tries without reply.
Shaw are at home again on Saturday when they host Haresfinch. Kick-off is at 2.30pm.
