Swifts race clear of ‘Wood

SLOPPY tackling cost Hollinwood dearly in a game they could and should have won.
Two tries from Andrew Taplin and a Paul Brooks goal had given Hollinwood a first-half lead before they gave up a let try for Lindley to level the scores at half-time.
The second period saw the visitors gradually get on top as quick tries put them 22-10 ahead before Mathew McCullough's try brought 'Wood to within eight points.
As Lindley gradually pulled away, Chris Collins' penalty try and Brooks' goal closed the gap.
However, Swifts refused to let the game slip and ran in some late tries to secure the win.
