THE Ashton and Oldham Alliance League's Dukes Shield will be bewteen St Mary's OPC and Bharat following Saturday's brace of semi-finals.

Saints dismissed Levenshulme Cavaliers for 82 before passing their target, having been 25-5 at one stage.

Bharat kept St Anne's to 153-8 from their overs despite Lord's 80, before Rakesh's 52 saw them home with four wickets in hand.

The final will be played at Droylsden on Saturday, September 3 with wickets pitched at 1.30pm.

Sunday saw Jay Hind I secure the Fawcett/Penney Supplementary Cup with victory against Newtonhurst in the final at Uppermill.

Batting first, Hind saw Harshad make an excellent 57 before man-of-the-match Kamlesh with 4-20 left Newtonhurst stuck on 76-8 in reply.
