JAY Hind I are the new Ashton and Oldham Cricket Alliance champions after their winning draw with St Mary's OPC.

St Mary's OPC made 153-6 against Hind for whom Dharmesh's unbeaten 86 was the foundation of their 157-4.

Bharat made 158-8 against Newtonhurst who secured a four-point winning draw with a reply of 128-6.

Elsewhere, St Anne's dismissed Levenhulme Cavaliers for 90 having been 121 all out while St Mary's HC's 177-8 was too good for Radclyffe II.

Waterhead Methodists totalled 163-9 against Jay Hind II who made 168-4, while Europa Exiles replied with 63-3 after dismissing Cane Studios for 62.
