Smith showdown

FAILSWORTH fighter Craig Watson has his third bout as a professional on Saturday night.

Watson, who gained fame for flooring Amir Khan, will be on the Bolton Arena undercard to Khan's lightweight debut against David Bailey.

The bill also features the British heavyweight title fight between Londoners Matt Skelton and Danny Williams.

The Northside boxer will meet Billy Smith of Birmingham in a scheduled four-round welterweight contest looking for his third win as a pro.

ITV1 will be showing the bill live on Saturday as part of its new agreement with Sports Network boxing promoter Frank Warren, the man who looks after the likes of Khan, Ricky Hatton, Skelton, Williams and Joe Calzaghe.
