Deadly duo lead way

QAISER Riaz and Aamer Bashir led the way as Hollinwood beat Uppermill by 19 runs in the Per-Fit Windows Saddleworth and District League.
A hard-hitting 66 from Riaz set the tone for Hollinwood as they rattled up 264-6.
Bashir was top-scorer for the Lime Lane club though with 79 as they left Uppermill with a mountain to climb.
Uppermill lost four wickets in reply, but 67 from Dave Roberts gave them a shot at an unlikely victory.
However, the loss of further wickets ensured Uppermill finished on 245-8.
Austerlands were comfortable winners against Friarmere as they compiled 208-8 before dismissing their opponents for 100.
Moorside beat Greenfield by six wickets, making 171-4 in reply to 168-5, while Saddleworth's 171-7 gave them a three-wicket victory against Shaw who had earlier made 167-9.
Heyside beat Stayley by six wickets as they reached 226-4 in reply to 222-2.
