Hayley’s not Green

THREE Oldham and Royton Harriers were among the competitors at the track and field open event at Liverpool's Wavertree Athletics Stadium.

Hayley Green ran well in her first outing as an under-15s athlete to record 32.9s for 200m.

Katie Keeley recorded 28.5s for the under-17s 200m, while Kate Hart ran her first under-20s 200m in 33.5s.

The Harriers host an open track meeting on Tuesday, April 26 at Radclyffe Athletics Centre, Hunt Lane, Chadderton, starting at 6.45pm.

Anybody from under-11s upwards can compete with medals on offer for the first three. Entry is £1 per event.

Paul Taylor is also organising road runs for Thursday evenings, starting at the track at 6.30pm. Those who are interested should call 0161 336 5862.
