BAE fly into second

THE Oldham and District Table Tennis League's promotion and relegation issues appear all but decided.

Wilmslow-based BAE A are poised for runners-up slot in division one after they demolished Hyde YM A 10-0.

Hollinwood A won 9-1 at Failsworth A while NCFPPP won 6-4 against BAE B.

Division two leaders Rosehill B won 8-2 at Hollinwood D, second-placed Werneth C prevailed 9-1 against Unison A, the score by which Failsworth B beat First Transport.

Third division Hamer Delph defeated PBAIS 8-2, while there were 6-4 wins for Coldhurst B over Gilders B, Unison C against Coldhurst C and Uppermill B over Gilders A.

Failsworth E lead division four after an 8-2 victory against Werneth E, Werneth F beat their Failsworth counterparts 7-3, Owls B prevailed 8-2 over Failsworth H, while Uppermill C beat Failsworth G 9-1.
