A DEPLETED Oldham RUFC side exited the Lancashire Cup, losing 11-5 at Aspull.

Missing Brian Quinlan, Mark Powell, John Webster, Simon Gledhill, Ross Cooper and Chris Heptonstall, Oldham trailed 6-5 at half-time through Walter Shumba's try.

Despite constant second-half pressure, Oldham conceded the decisive try in the 55th minute from a rolling maul.
