CONSECUTIVE wins have seen Hollinwood B move away from the Oldham and District Table Tennis League's first division drop zone.

Their latest match saw them beat Failsworth A 6-4, the score by which Werneth B edged out Glodwick.

In division two, Uppermill A posted a 7-3 victory at First Transport, Hyde YM B beat Grotton B 6-4, Pennine prevailed 7-3 against Hollinwood E whose D side beat Honeywell B by the same score.

Leaders Rosehill B beat Failsworth C 7-3, Werneth C defeated relegation-threatened Failsworth B 8-2, while Hollinwood C edged out Unison A 6-4.

Third division Gilders A won 7-3 against Unison B.

Pacesetters Coldhurst A swept aside Owls A 8-2, who then went down 6-4 against Uppermill B.

Werneth D triumphed 8-2 at PBAIS and Gilders B won 7-3 at Failsworth D.

Failsworth H's had a fourth division 7-3 win against Werneth F.

Failsworth took a step nearer division three with a 7-3 victory over Owls B.

Uppermill C demolished Failsworth F 10-0 while Werneth F beat Deaf Club 6-4.

The E teams of Werneth and Coldhurst shared a 5-5 draw.
