SHAW ran in four tries in the opening 25 minutes through Craig Hernon, Mark Davenport, and a brace from Grant Bithel.

Danny Atherton converted all four, opening up a 24-2 lead before Widnes hit back with two tries, one converted, to turn around trailing 24-12.

That deficit was further narrowed with a converted try after the restart.

Bithel added two more tries to take his tally to four and another from Rob Mills - plus two conversions and a penalty from Atherton - sealed a comfortable win.
