One over the eight for first division leaders

OLDHAM and District Table Tennis League first division leaders NCFPPP posted comfortable wins against Honeywell A and Glodwick to maintain top spot.

They beat Honeywell 9-1 before coming out on top 7-3 against Glodwick, while Failsworth A were 6-4 victors over Werneth A.

Second division play saw Hollinwood E win 8-2 at Hyde YMCA B.

The match between Honeywell B and Unison A resulted in a 7-3 win for the former as Failsworth B routed their C side 9-1.

In division three, Hamer Delph won 8-2 at Unison B, while Werneth D had a 6-4 victory over Uppermill B.

Fourth division leaders Failsworth E had no problems in disposing of their F team 10-0. Werneth E kept in touch with a 7-3 win at Uppermill C, Failsworth G and Coldhurst E drew while Owls B defeated Werneth F 8-2.
