KEN Hayes produced an outstanding display for Oldham Vets B in their Lancs and Cheshire first division clash with their A side, doubling in their 5-5 draw.

In division one of the Oldham League, Phil Myers was unbeaten for Werneth B in their 6-4 win over Hollinwood B. Honeywell A beat Grotton A 7-3, Paul Rowbotham trebling. George Jones was unbeaten for Hollinwood A in a 6-4 win over Hyde YMCA A.

Werneth C's 7-3 win at Hollinwood C proved they are not out of contention for a second division promotion spot. Unison A swept aside Pennine 7-3, Honeywell B won 8-2 at Grotton B, while Rosehill B beat First Transport, also 8-2.

Third division leaders Coldhurst A hit the 100-point mark with an 8-2 win over Unison C, while second-placed Gilders A defeated PBAIS 7-3. Coldhurst B beat their C side by the same score and Community Centre shared the points with Gilders B.

Division four leaders Coldhurst D reached the 100-point milestone with a 7-3 win at Unison D, while Honeywell C beat Deaf Club 9-1.
