OLDHAM Athletic's pre-season officially starts on Thursday with a busy few weeks as the club prepares for the new Coca-Cola League One season.

Brian Talbot's squad report back to Boundary Park to resume training with summer signings Rodney Jack and Mark Arber set to officially pen their 12-month and two-year contracts respectively.

Talbot also expects to learn whether Steve Corry will accept Latics' offer of a three-month contract or opt to join non-league Kettering Town on a two-year deal.

Meanwhile club officials will go head-to-head in a Manchester Employment Tribunal today with former boss Iain Dowie unless an out-of-court settlement can be reached.

The Crystal Palace manager claims the Latics owe him £80,000 in unpaid bonuses and transfer profits.

Dowie is expected to attend to give evidence alongside Palace chairman Simon Jordan while Alan Hardy, Simon Corney and Barry Chaytow will speak on Latics' behalf at the hearing.

July 13: Stalybridge Celtic v Latics (7.30pm)

July 17: Nantwich Town v Latics (3pm)

July 19: Four-day training camp at Keele University starts

July 20: Newcastle Town v Latics (7.45pm)

July 22: Players return from training camp

July 23: Latics v Leeds United (7.45pm)

July 27: Latics v Bolton Wanderers (7.45pm)

July 30: Rochdale v Latics (7.30pm)

August 7: Coca Cola League One - Luton Town v Latics (3pm)
