CHADDERTON’S under-16s team
Girls seeking to net themselves football glory

CHADDERTON FC is celebrating the launch of its' first-ever girls football team.
The newly-formed side reflects the huge international growth in the popularity of the ladies' code and Chadderton officials have worked hard to recruit, coach and develop this promising team.
Spokesman Paul Rafferty said: "Watching this team in training, their sportsmanship and sheer enjoyment of the game shine through. This team will provide an excellent basis on which to build a promising future for the women's code in Chadderton."
The girls' kit is sponsored by C and A Motors of Royton.
Chadderton FC was formed in 1947 and has promoted football in the local community as well-established members of the North West Counties League.
Old boys include David Platt (Arsenal and England), John Pemberton (Leeds Utd), Graham Bell (Latics) and even Mark Owen (pop group Take That).
