Diggle defeated

TWO consecutive defeats have ended Diggle FC’s hopes of lifting the Huddersfield League division one title.
Last Tuesday saw them beaten 2-1 by Uppermill, Leland Mayall with their goal, before they went down 4-2 at relegation-haunted Lepton last weekend.
Their worst performance for many months had seen Diggle level at 2-2 at half-time thanks to McGrath and Goddard.
However, poor defending saw them concede twice after half-time against a side who had played with 10 men for an hour.
