A record bid

9/ 7/2008

THE Roughyeds’ match against Doncaster will also feature a world record attempt with a difference at half-time.

With the club bidding to break their own National League Two attendance record of 4,327, they are also trying to set a world record for the most number of people participating in a game of ‘Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’ at any one time.

That will take place on the pitch at half-time, supervised by instructors from Fitness First, but it must take place for longer than five minutes to be officially ratified as a world best by the Guinness Book of Records.

Consequently, it is hoped that every man, woman and child inside Boundary Park on the night will take part and help the Roughyeds set the new world record.
