ICE baths, massages and summer work are all on the menu after Latics’ boss John Sheridan assessed the end of another League One campaign.

Last Saturday’s 4-1 victory at Crewe Alexandra finally brought the curtain down on a season which saw too many inconsistent performances for Athletic to be seriously considered as promotion contenders.
