Newell’s national award

ROYTON teenager John Newell earned his reward for boxing clever when he was named as the junior novice ABA champion.

The 15-year-old North Chadderton School pupil recorded an 11-2 points win against Midlands fighter Daniel McDickinson in the 70-kilo section final.
