Angels soaring

HEYSIDE Angels saw both their under-14s teams hit the opposition for eight goals in their latest League Cup ties.
The yellows beat Moston Valley 8-2 with Emma Holroyd (three), Raeanne Kaminski, Jessica Cooke (two each) and Beth Giblin all scoring, while the clarets beat Oldham Athletic 8-3 thanks to Emma Harte (three), Lucy Shaylor (two), Sarah Fitton, Blossom Halkyard and Lauren Parkinson.
Their under-12s were also unbeaten, the clarets drawing 0-0 with Oldham Athletic, while the navy squad beat Curzon Ashton 4-1 with Chloe Wild (three) and Jay Butler-Jones scoring.
The under-10s were also victorious, the whites beating Oldham Athletic 3-0 with goals from Tanishia Williams (two) and Jade Hughes, while Alicia Stretton’s double handed the navy squad a 2-0 win over Uppermill Rockettes.
Elsewhere, Leoni Harland (two), Kayleigh Larkin and Paige Rowlands netted as the under-11s’ navy team lost 6-4 against Curzon Ashton.
