CHADDY Hoppers’ under-eights’ green team did not return from their long break with a victory as they went down 3-0 against Heyside.
Having drawn 2-2 with Middleton Boys in midweek, the under-11s’ red squad defeated Seedfield B 6-0 thanks to goals from Josh O’Donnell (three), Nick Fennel (two) and Josh Alker.
The blues followed up a 3-2 midweek win at Radcliffe Borough B with victory by the same score against Brandlesholme Warriors, Dan Ratcliff (two) and Josh Lindsay on target.
Hoppers’ under-12s’ blue side won 6-2 at Marauder Rays as Dane Mansfield (two), Jordan Anderson, Nathan Quinlan, Matthew McGladdery and Shaune Taylor all scored.
However, the reds were beaten 3-2 by Stand Athletic with Stephen Wharmby and Sam Depetrillo scoring consolation goals.
