Rockettes downed

HEYSIDE Angels’ under-14s’ teams were in the goals during their latest League Cup games against Uppermill Rockettes as the yellows won 7-1 and the clarets 12-0.

Raeanne Kaminski (six) and Katie Royston scored for the yellows with Blossom Halkyard, Emma Harte, Lauren Parkinson, Lily Prince (two each), Danielle Reynolds, Sarah Fitton, Lucy Shaylor and Jess Bromley netting for the clarets.

Sarah Hardman (three), Bethany Mellor and Freya Murray netted as the under-12s’claret squad beat Moston Valley 5-0, although the navy team lost 4-3 against Droylsden despite goals from Jay Butler-Jones (two) and Chloe Wild.

The under-11s navy team hammered Uppermill Rockettes 18-0 thanks to goals from Kayleigh Larkin (six), Phoebe Dunne, Leoni Harand (three each), Georgia Anwas, Paige Reynolds (two each), Dannielle Partington and Natalie Reynolds.

However, the white team lost 5-1 against Curzon Ashton with Bryony Bolton netting their goal.

As for the under-10s, the white team defeated the navy squad 2-0 with Caitlin Senior and Jade Hughes netting.

Elsewhere, Heyside Ladies won 5-2 at Hemsworth WM in the West Riding Womens League, Rachel Davies (three), Debbie Ferguson and Gemma Shaw on target.
