DIGGLE FC’S first XI continued their rise up division one of the Huddersfield League with a 2-1 victory against Shepley.
All the goals came in the second half with Diggle taking the lead just before the hour thanks to Neil Rennie’s goal.
Shepley levelled when Bev Mayall collided with keeper Mike Moore, allowing the visitors to tap home.
However, the winner came with 20 minutes left when Leland Mayall scored his sixth goal in seven games.
Elsewhere, Diggle’s third team routed Mount 6-0.
