Still in second spot

OLDHAM Athletic’s under-12s’ girls team remained second in division one after Feiruz Ahmed’s goal gave them a 1-1 draw against Curzon Ashton Tigers.

The under-14s’ Girls side won 5-2 at Uppermill Rockettes thanks to Nicole Scott (three), Shelby Newton and Yasmin Deane, while the Blues were 6-1 winners at Curzon Ashton Pumas with Faye Hardacre (three), Megan Jackson, Hannah Moorhouse and Lauren Steel finding the net.

Substitute Sarah Ryan gave the under-16s a 1-0 victory against Curzon Ashton, but the under-10s lost 3-0 against the same opposition.
