Seven up for girls

OLDHAM Athletic’s under-12s’ girls team were 7-1 winners against Denton Town in their division one match thanks to Abbie Porter (five) and Natalya Smythe.
There was also a victory in division two as Emily Vale (three) and Abby Bennet gave them a 4-1 win over Chadderton Park.
The under-14s’ blue team beat Droylsden Juniors 7-0 with Lauren Steel, Danielle Martin (two each), Faye Hardacre, Anna Moorhouse and Megan Jackson scoring.
Sarah Ryan (four), Bekki Hall (two), Leanne Taylor and Jennifer Irwin scored in the under-16s’ 8-1 win over Droylsden Juniors.
Elsewhere, the under-10s lost 5-0 to Heyside Angels Whites while the under-14s were beaten 2-0 by Curzon Ashton Tigers.
