Climbing the table

DIGGLE FC continued their crawl up the Huddersfield League division one table after a 3-1 victory against Aimbrey.
They took the lead after five minutes through Bev Mayall, although Aimbrey levelled five minutes before half-time.
Matt Platt restored their lead just after the break before Neil Rennie completed the scoring on 65 minutes.
An excellent weekend for the club was completed as the seconds won their cup tie 2-0 at Brook Motors, while Warren Edwards netted four times as the thirds were 6-2 winners at Linthwaite.
