LATICS' under-18s finished top of their league for the third consecutive year after a 4-0 victory over Macclesfield Town.

Deane Smalley and Kallum Higginbotham put Athletic 2-0 up at the interval before second-half strikes from Aaron Chalmers and Lewis Alessandra sealed victory.

Winning the league means they now go into a championship play-off final against the winners of the other Northern-based Youth Alliance League with the winners crowned as the overall Northern champions.
