Given a home draw

LATICS have been handed a home draw against Morecambe in the opening round of this season’s Johnstone’s Paints Trophy.
The match against Sammy McIlroy’s League Two club will be played at Boundary Park during the week commencing Monday, September 1.
The draw is: Northern Section West – Oldham Athletic v Morecambe; Crewe Alexandra v Macclesfield Town; Stockport County v Port Vale; Tranmere Rovers v Accrington Stanley.
Northern Section East – Chesterfield v Grimsby Town; Scunthorpe Utd v Notts County; Leeds Utd v Bradford City; Hartlepool Utd v Leicester City.
Southern Section West – AFC Bournemouth v Bristol Rovers; Brentford v Yeovil Town; Exeter City v Shrewsbury Town; Aldershot Town v Swindon Town;
Southern Section East – Millwall v Colchester Utd; Northampton Town v Brighton and Hove Albion; Southend Utd v Leyton Orient; Dagenham and Redbridge v Barnet.
