Watch the Masters

LATICS supporters can take a trip down memory lane when some of the club’s former players don the blue shirt again on Saturday.

For the first time, the club is fielding a team in Sky Sports’ North West Masters tournament, taking place at the MEN Arena.

Athletic will be bidding to see off Manchester United, Manchester City, Bolton Wanderers, Leeds United and Blackburn Rovers for a place in the Grand Final.

Representing Latics will be: Jon Hallworth, Darren Sheridan, Mike Milligan, Lee Duxbury, David Eyres, Tommy Wright, Tony Philliskirk, Rick Holden and Andy Ritchie.

Tickets, priced £14 for adults and £10 concessions, remain available with the action starting at 7.30pm.
