SEASON tickets will go on sale next Tuesday for Latics supporters interested in a potential saving of over £150.

They will be sold at a reduced price up until noon on Thursday, May 29, meaning a possible discount of £152 – or seven games completely free compared to matchday prices.

With the New Start Mortgages Stand scheduled for demolition this summer, the club has designated the large section of the Cable Comms Rochdale Road Stand as a home area.

Supporters who purchase tickets for that section will enjoy a £20 discount compared to other areas of the ground.

With three stands in operation next season, the cheapest adult ticket (£303) is available in the lower tier of the Horners Motor Group Main Stand.

Adult tickets are priced at £308 in the Cable Comms Rochdale Road End, and £328 in both the Detect All Alarms Chaddy End and the upper tier of the Horners Motor Group Main Stand.

Prices in all other sections have been frozen for the 2008/09 campaign with juniors able to purchase season tickets for just £50 anywhere except the Main Stand.

Families wishing to watch Athletic next season can bag themselves a significant discount by purchasing a family ticket.

The club has also confirmed that matchday admission prices will remain at 2007/08 levels.

This is the third year in succession that matchday prices have remained unchanged.

On the pitch, Latics boss John Sheridan has spelled out his desire to keep Mark Crossley, Andy Liddell and Gary McDonald at Boundary Park with all three out of contract in the summer.
