Crossley's buzz

GOALKEEPER Mark Crossley has spoken about the buzz in the Latics dressing room following the club’s success in the FA Cup.
Latics landed a plum tie with Everton in the third round after seeing off League One counterparts Doncaster and Crewe, with the latter being defeated 1-0 on Saturday.
John Sheridan’s side will travel to Goodison Park on the weekend of January 5/6 to take a shot at David Moyes’ collection of millionaire stars.
“It’s a fantastic draw,” Crossley told Latics World. “I’d only been in for ten minutes on Monday and already I could feel a real buzz about the place.
“To go to Goodison Park is great for all the lads and for the supporters – I presume we’ll have four or five thousand fans there.
“It’s brilliant because this is worth all the effort put in against Doncaster and Crewe.
“We showed great spirit to go to Doncaster and win, and we dominated the game on Saturday.
“We’ve come through comfortably in the end, and it’s paid off with a fantastic draw.”
