Preview: Dagenham v Bury
17/10/2008
BURY boss Alan Knill is hoping his side can bounce back from their first league defeat of the season when they visit second-placed Dagenham & Redbridge.
The high-flying Shakers have slipped to fifth after the defeat at home to Exeter last week, but have signed forward Chris O'Grady on a month's loan from Oldham.
"Good teams bounce back," said Knill. "Even Manchester United and Chelsea lose at some point but it's about what you do in the next game.
"Hopefully we'll learn from it and not give goals away inside seven minutes, and we've been working on that this week.
"It'll be a tough game as they haven't lost at home but it's good for us because no-one expects us to get anything there."
Knill is set to name an unchanged line-up although defender Ryan Cresswell (groin) is unlikely to remain in the squad after picking up an injury in midweek.
Dagenham league form: WLDWW
Bury league form: WWDDL
Key opponent: Matt Ritchie - midfielder, on loan from Pompey, has scored two in his three appearances so far
Prediction: Dagenham 1 Bury 1 - a real test of Bury's promotion credentials but they should leave with a point
