Soller/Traylor stroll to Victory Pairs glory

THE 88th Victory Pairs competition took place last Sunday in sweltering heat at Macclesfield Bowling Club.
There was an excellent entry of 48 bowlers.
The green was running, the sun shining, it all pointed to a perfect day.
And spectators were not disappointed as the bowling was of the highest order.
It was 6pm when Grant Soller, partnered by Lee Traylor, commenced the final against Brian Whiston and Mark Warren.
By 6.30pm it was all over as Soller and Traylor were just unbeatable - winning 21-10.
The losing semi finalists were Pete Mannion and Dave Hayhurst, and Stafford Mitchel and John Hambleton.
