OLDHAM did the double as they won both games during a rain-affected weekend in the Lake Garage Central Lancashire League.
Saturday brought an eight-wicket victory against Unsworth, dismissing their visitors for 118.
Twenty-fours later came a nine-wicket win against Royton as they skittled their neighbours for 126.
Crompton won Sunday’s other local derby, restricting Werneth to 93-7 and replying with 91-3.
Saturday brought frustration for Crompton as rain stopped play with Heywood on 115-5 after Crompton had compiled 176-8.
The Saturday showers also denied Werneth as they were 111-2 chasing Littleborough’s 166 all out when rain intervened.
However, the weather came to Royton’s rescue as they were on 77-7 at Monton and Weaste, where the hosts had made 217-6.
