BETTER care from GPs or the end of family doctors as we know them?
In the north west the approach to the latest revolution will be different, but the debate rages on, as Paul Taylor finds...
Sue23 you are ao missing the point, The NHS was privatized in 1948 when Gps became small businesses that could milk the state coffers as they do now.

What is this Dr Chand on about. "The end of family medicine as we know it." That went west years ago, Cant remeber the last time I saw "my" Gp just one of the many at the "GP led health centre" that I go too and I've no complaints. Got what I want when I wanted it. Dr Chand would have me wait days to see him. No Thanks.

Dr Chand is right. This is privatisation of the NHS - bit by bit it will be chipped away at.
