FIREFLY are a four, and occasional five, piece based in Oldham.
The group were formed in 1995 and, though having taken several sabbaticals, are still going strong.
All members were friends long before the band started which they believe adds depth to their song writing and stage presence.
The track Lazy Little Girl was originally penned before the bands conception but became popular with Firefly’s following very early on.
This new version of the track features an up and coming young rap artist from Oldham known as Massacre.
The band say: “Lazy Little Girl’s meaning is explicit in the title, but the underbelly of the song is a little more damning though met with optimism. Warning - this song will hook you!”
