A bit about... Louise Wallwein

Manchester poet Louise Wallwein has made a name for herself on the other side of the world, having recently been made Queensland's Poet In Residence. Her new play Skid 180 - about life, friendship and BMX riding - runs at the Contact Theatre until May 13.

The first thing I do when I wake up is...

roll a cig.

Ideally I would spend every day...

sitting on my terrace, imagining world peace.

If money were no object I would...

get myself a personal instructor.

The greatest gift I have ever received was...

My one piece of advice would be...

never pay more tax than you have to by smoking.

My first job was...

a paper round.

I'm scared of...

myself.

I'm excited by...

myself.

If I could go back in time and do one thing again it would be...

to save the Dodo from extinction.

I love...

my girlfriend, my god daughters (Bea and Laura), my nieces (Alessia and Flavia).

I hate...

cars.

I want...

to always be a poet.

the Prime Minister, and sort this country out good and proper.
