THEATRE: George's Marvellous Medicine, Palace, from Tues 15 July

MASTER storyteller Roald Dahl’s entrancing tale George’s Marvellous Medicine comes live to the stage at the Palace Theatre.

This is the story of a young boy who makes a remarkable new medicine to cure his grandmother of her terrifying temper.

But when Grandma drinks his special remedy, the most incredible things start to happen – and George’s adventure has just begun!

This fantastical tale of lotions and potions comes courtesy of Birmingham Stage Company, which often stages versions of Roald Dahl’s books.

The company has established an unrivalled reputation for its productions with shows including The Witches, Fantastic Mr Fox, James and the Giant Peach and Danny the Champion of the World.

Its production of George’s Marvellous Medicine has already been featured twice on BBC’s Blue Peter programme, and offers a magical experience for all the family.
